PCC addressed a letter to GEPIL
Dear all,
Your association is in receipt of the copy of a letter issued by Member Secretary, Pollution Control Committee, Daman Diu and Dadra Nagar Haveli to GEPIL. The letter is addressed to the Director, Gujarat Enviro Protection & Infrastructure (D&NH) Pvt. Ltd., Survey. No. 9/1, Village Mota-Randha, DNH, Silvassa. The scanned copy of the letter is enclosed herewith for your information.
Vide the said letter, PCC has directed M/s GEPIL to lift the hazardous waste; from the industrial premises of the authorized members, for its scientific disposal to avoid any untoward environmental issues.
As informed earlier, a meeting was held by PCC with Industries Associations of DNH on 12/01/2016 to discuss various issues. During the meeting, All the Associations raised the issue that, M/s GEPIL , Mota Randha is not lifting the hazardous waste from the premises of authorized members, due to some commercial dispute.
So, PCC has requested in the above letter to deal the commercial dispute separately and lift the hazardous waste from the industrial premises.
