Order issued by the Secretary (Labour) UT Administration of DNH and DD.
Dear all,
Your association SIMA is in receipt of an Order No. LE/LI/DMN/BRAP/238/2020/171 dated 23.07.2020 issued by the Secretary (Labour) UT Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.
As per the said Order, in the wake of the current crisis on account of COVID-19 pandemic, there are restrictions on the movement of workers leading to a shortage of worker thereby causing the factories to deal with an exceptional press of work.
In order to enable the factories to deal with said exceptional press of work in view of the said crisis, there is a need for relaxing certain provisions of the Factories Act, 1948 (Central Act No.63 of 1948) (hereinafter called the "said Act") thereby extending the working hours for optimum utilization of the workers in the factories which have been allowed to operate under the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India and the UT Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu from time to time.....TO VIEW THE ORDER PLEASE CLICK HERE.
