Order issued by Honl. District Magistrate, DNH to issue identity cards to all the workers/employees.
Dear All,
Your association is forwarding herewith an Order issued by Hon’ble District Magistrate, Dadra & Nagar Haveli under Section 144 of Code of Criminal Procedure 1972 vide Order No. ADM/LAW/84/2008/1810 dated 13th June 2018. The scanned copy of the order is enclosed herewith.
A large number of employees are working in various industrial units in the UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and it is observed that the workers, in general, don’t have proper identity cards, therefore, it becomes difficult them at the time of any untoward accident.
Hence, it is ordered for all contractors and industrial owners to keep the details of Identity proof of their employees/workers and also issue identity cards to all the workers/employees working under them. The order shall come into force with the immediate effect.
In this regards a newspaper cutting appeared in local newspaper Asli Azadi is also enclosed herewith for reference.
So, it is requested to comply with the above order.
