Order issued by District Magistrate Dadra Nagar Haveli to issue ID Cards to the Employees
Dear all,
Your association is forwarding herewith an Order issued by District Magistrate/ Collector, Dadra & Nagar Haveli vide Order No. ADM/LAW/139/1999/1227, dated 29/06/2024 under Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
As a large number of employees are working in various industrial units in DNH District and it is observed that the workers in general don’t have proper identity cards, therefore, it becomes difficult to identify them at the time of any untoward incident.
As per the Order, all the contractors/industrial owners are directed to keep details of identity proof and also issue Identity Cards to their employee and inform concerned police station accordingly.
SIMA also appeals all the colleague industries to adhere the above order strictly.
