Dear all,
Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith a Notice issued by Government of lndia Central Ground Water Authority Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation dated 20/06/2019.
As per the said Notice, Mandatory conditions subject to which the extraction of ground water is permitted by Central Ground Water Authority (CGWA) and the extent thereof , in terms of Para 26 of general directions and Para 4 of specific directions under NGT Judgement dated 13/07/2017 in OA No. 200/2014.
All the project proponents having No Objection Certificate (NOC) for ground water withdrawal issued by CGWA are hereby informed that the following mandatory conditions need to be strictly followed and non-compliance of any of these conditions is likely to result in the cancellation of NOC and legal action against the proponent.
