Further Extension of Permission for Use of Alternative Fuels
Dear Members,
We wish to inform you that Pollution Control Committee, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu (PCC DNH & DD) has issued Order No. PCC/DDD/PET-COKE-FO(WP)(C)13029/1985/CPCB(DMN)/19-20/242 dated 23/10/2026 regarding extension of permission for use of alternative fuels.
Reference:
1. PCC Order dated 13/03/2026 granting temporary permission for use of alternative fuels due to interruption in supply of natural gas.
2. Subsequent extensions vide Orders dated 25/09/2026 and 14/10/2026.
Present Order:
Whereas the interruption in the supply of natural gas continues to persist, necessitating further extension.
Now, therefore, in continuation of the aforesaid orders, PCC DNH & DD hereby further extends the permission for the use of alternative fuels up to 31/10/2026, subject to all existing terms and conditions stipulated in the previous orders and compliance with the applicable CPCB directions and guidelines.
The permission shall remain temporary in nature and may be reviewed, modified, withdrawn or further extended depending on the availability of natural gas and directions issued by CPCB or other competent authorities.
All concerned industries who are using alternative fuels are requested to note the same and ensure strict compliance of conditions stipulated in the earlier orders.
