Declaration of special allowance under the Minimum Wages Act, Order by Hon'ble Secretary.
Dear all,
Your association SIMA is in receipt of an order Order NO. LE/LI/DMN/MWA- 3(ll)/2021/90, dated 10/05/2021, issued by Hon’ble Secretary (Labour), Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu. The scanned copy of the order is enclosed herewith for your ready reference. The said order is in respect to the declaration of special allowance under the Minimum Wages Act,1948.
As per the Order, the daily rate of Special Allowances payable on the basis of cost of living index number is hereby increased at the Rate of Rs. 72.20/- for a period from 01.04.2021 to 30.09.2021. Hence, considering the earlier daily rate of Special Allowances, the minimum rates of wages payable per day is as under;
