Declaration of Rate of Interest for the Employees Provident Fund Members Acct. FY 2015-16 regarding
Dear all,
Your association is in receipt of letter no Invest. I/3(2)/133/ROI/2015-16/3725 dated 25.05.2016 from Addl. Central P.F. Commissioner(PA & IMC) , Employees Provident Fund Organisation. The scanned copy of the letter is enclosed herewith.
Vide the said letter It is to intimated to All Regional Provident Fund Commissioners that the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Govt of India, has conveyed the approval of the Central Government under Para 60(1) of Employees' Provident Fund Scheme, 1952 to credit interest @8.80% for the year 2015-16 to the account to each member of the Scheme as per the provision under Para 60 of EPF Scheme, 1952.
Accordingly all the Regional Provident Fund Commissioners, and Sub-Regional offices are requested to direct all the concerned for crediting the said interest to the members accounts.
