Circular regarding Special Task Force for taking measures to eliminate Single-Use Plastics.
Dear all,
Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith a Circular issued by Member Secretary, Pollution Control Committee, Dear all, DNH & DD vide No. PCC/DDD/PW (Part-IV)/ 2019-20/134 dated 27.07.2021 regarding constitution of Special Task Force for Phasing out of single use plastic in the territory of DNH & DD.
Vide the circular the department has forwarded an Order issued by the Department of Environment & Forests, DNH & DD. Pursuant to the directions received from the Government of India, the Union Territory Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu has constituted the Special Task Force for the UT of DNH&DD and Task Force at District Level for the Districts of Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu for taking measures to eliminate Single-Use Plastics (SUPS) and also to prepare a comprehensive Action Plan for its implementation in mission mode.
