Dear all,
Your association SIMA is in receipt of a Circular issued by The Hon’ble Collector & Labour Commissioner, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Silvassa, UT Administration of DNH and DD, dated 28th March 2020.
Vide the Circular; the Administration has issued various directions to the employers of public and private establishments.
1. To extend their coordination by not terminating their employees particularly casual or contract workers from the job or reduce their wages. If any workers take leave, he should be deemed to be on duty without any consequential deduction in wages for this period. Further, if the place of employment is to be made non-operational due to Covid-19, the employees of such unit will be deemed to be on duty.
2. To ensure that the salary/wages of employees are deposited into the respective bank account of the employee well in time. In the case of employees that the salary/wages of the employees are deposited in the respective bank account of the employee by the contractor/agency well in time.
