Dear All,
Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith a Circular No.PCC/DDD/RHS CIRCULAR/18-19 issued on 02/07/2018 by Member Secretary, Pollution Control Committee, Daman Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli.
Vide the circular it is informed that installation of Rain Water Harvesting Structures and percolation tanks in the premises of Industries, Resorts, Hotels, etc is essential to conserve and promote the use of harvested rainwater for daily use during the lean season. The percolation tank installed will help in groundwater recharge and improve the groundwater table.
So hereby all the colleague industries are requested to install rainwater harvesting structure including percolation tanks to conserve and effectively use the scarce resource(water).
