Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith a Circular No. C-III/022/3(6)2014/MH/26773 issued by Employees' Provident Fund Organization, Govt of India dated on 18/03/2019. The copy is enclosed herewith.
As per the Circular Clarification Regarding Contribution under Section 6 not payable on Cost to Company. It has been observed that the import of Section 6 of the Employee Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 is not correctly understood by some of the office's fields which result in complaints and many time it causes for unnecessary litigations.
