Dear all,
At present Value Added Tax Department receives online application for VAT and CST Registration under Dadra & Nagar Haveli VAT Regulation 2005.
As per the provision of Rule 12 of Dadra & Nagar Haveli Value Added Tax Rules, 2005 such registration are required to be granted within period of 30 days.
We are pleased to inform you that, the VAT Department, Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli has taken an initiative under the leadership of Shri Ashish Kundraji, IAS, Hon'ble Administrator, Dadra & Nagar Haveli has decided that, under the programme of Hon'ble Prime Minister to provide ease of doing business, henceforth such registration certification shall be issued within only one day in respect of non-sensitive goods. Accordingly all goods; except sensitive goods like Petroleum Products, Chemicals, Acids, etc which shall be specifically categorized, the VAT and CST Registration of other non-sensitive goods shall be granted within a day on completion of all formalities like complete application form, deposition of registration fees, security, etc shall be obtained on registration.
The site inspection shall be carried out post-registration.
