Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith a Circular No. DNH-SMC0ENGG(SEW)/08/2019-CO SMC/697, dated 08/03/2022, issued by the Silvassa Municipal Council, UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.
Vide the circular, it is informed that work for repair, maintenance and cleaning of sewers and septic tanks within the jurisdiction of Silvassa Municipal Council shall only be done by as per the compliance of the "Prohibition of Employment as Manual Scavenger and Their Rehabilitation Act 2013 (M. S. Act, 2013).
