Campaign to achieve the objectives of digital transaction to the maximum extent
Dear all,
Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith a letter issued by M. Sathiyavathy, I.A.S, Hon’ble Secretary, Ministry of Labour & Employment, Govt. of India. Vide the said letter Hon’ble Secretary has directed all Chief Secretaries of State / UTs to launch a campaign to open bank account in respect of those workers of organize and unorganized sector who don’t have any own account even now. The scanned copy of the letter is enclosed herewith.
As per the letter a committee will be formed for organizing such camps at district level to launch the campaign vigorously to achieve the objectives of digital transaction to the maximum extent. The main object of this campaign is to facilitate financial inclusion of workers and to ensure timely payment of their wages.
This is for your kind information and with request to cooperate the campaign of Govt of India to bring our workers in main stream and to have cashless transaction.
