Your association SIMA is pleased to inform you that our Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modiji has taken initiatives to provide good health services to the people and particularly downtrodden section of the country. On the auspicious occasion of our 72nd Independence Day, he has launched a scheme known as "Ayushman Bharat – National Health Protection Mission (AB-NHPM)".
The objective of the scheme is to reduce the financial burden on poor and vulnerable groups arising out of hospital episodes and ensure their access to quality health services. AB-NHPM seeks to accelerate India’s progress towards achievement of Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and Sustainable Development Goal - 3 (SDG3).
The benefit of the scheme is to provide free treatment up to 5 lakh rupees from government and private hospitals per year per family. To avail the benefit of the scheme the person need to apply online and register their name on the portal. The registration will start from 25th September 2018.
All the colleague industries are requested to create awareness of the scheme amongst their employees to enable them to avail the benefit of the scheme.
