Award for Clean and Green Industrial Premises in DD and DNH

Your association is in receipt of a Circular No. PCC/DDD/WED/ WORKSHOP/2015-16/197, dtd: 30/05/2016 from Member Secretary, Pollution Control Committee, DD & DNH. The scanned copy of the circular is enclosed herewith.
As we all know that 5th June is celebrated as World Environment Day and Pollution Control Committee, DD & DNH is going to celebrate the World Environment Day on 5th June 2016 in both the territory.
It is decided that on the day PCC shall organize a awareness programme on "Preservation of Environment", at Daman wherein industries and general public shall be involved and every sections of society shall be motivated to preserve our environment and save the Earth.
On the day various drives like Tree Plantation, Clean and Green India, Water Harvesting shall be launched. So, all the colleague industries are hereby requested to celebrate the World Environment Day on 5th June 2016 by motivating their employees to preserve the environment to save the earth.
Apart from this to encourage more plantation/saving trees, water harvesting and keeping the premises Green and Clean, Pollution Control Committee, DD & DNH shall recognize such industries in Daman and Dadra & Nagar Haveli, who are maintaining their industrial premises Green, Clean and Hygienic by awarding three industries from each territory.
PCC, DD & DNH has therefore appealed to industries to send their nomination along with photographs of their industrial premises to the office of Member Secretary, Pollution Control Committee, Udyog Bhavan, Nani Daman latest by 3rd June 2016.
Three Best Clean and Green industries (for Daman and DNH separately) will be felicitated during the celebration function of World Environment Day on 5th June 2016.
So, all the colleague industries are hereby requested to actively participate in the competition and in the celebration programme of World Environment Day.
