Dear all,
Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith an Order No. ADM/DM/Safety-Ind/333/2018/3059 dated on 23/11/18 issued by Hon’ble Collector/Chairperson, DNH District Disaster Management Authority, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Silvassa.
It has been noticed that, an accident was occurred at Elegant Casting Pvt. Ltd. on 15/10/2018 leading to severe injuries to workers and it is the evidence that such incident is the result of the inadequacies in observing the safety procedures at the workplace.
In this regards, Hon’ble Collector, Dadra & Nagar Haveli has issued an order under Section 58 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 that all industries using induction furnaces shall comply with required safety precautions including the provisioning of safety gear, personal protective equipment.
All the colleague industries are requested to comply the same, failing to implement the said safety measure shall be treated as an offence and shall be liable to proceed against and punished as per order.
