Your association SIMA is in receipt of a letter from the Principal, Government Engineering College, Daman bearing letter No. 10.3-GEC-Misc/2019-20/84, dated 29/05/2019. This letter is regarding Admission for Degree Courses in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering for the Academic year 2019-20. The scanned copy of the letter is attached herewith.
By this letter, it is informed that U.T. Administration of Daman & Diu has established a Government Engineering College at Daman. The foundation stone of the College was laid by Shri Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Prime Minister of India on dated 24th February 2018 for higher engineering education for the students of Daman & Diu, Dadra & Nagar Haveli. The Engineering College offers faculties for Bachelor Degree Courses i.e. Mechanical, Civil & Electrical.
As both the territories have many industrial undertakings, this college shall gift the young technical manpower to industries. This college shall prove a boon for the industries from where we can get good technocrats.
This is to inform you that, the Admission for the above bachelor degrees courses have been opened for the Academic Year 2019-20 and college has invited Online applications from the students Academic Year 2019-20.
The colleague industries and their employees are requested to take benefit and enroll their children name for these courses.
