Revision in Minimum Wages
Dear all,
SIMA in coordination with other association submitted a letter to Hon'ble Labour Commissioner, Dadra & Nagar Haveli Administration, Silvassa. The scanned copy of the representation is attached herewith.
Vide the said letter, the impact of revision of Minimum Wages on the industries of Dadra & Nagar Haveli has been explained in detail to Hon'ble Labour Commissioner. It is also explained that, the industries is passing through recession and any further enhancement in wages shall put industries in great hardship. This is the time to ensure that, industries in the UT Dadra & Nagar Haveli are sustained. For the viability of industries a moratorium on revision of wages for a period of three years may be imposed by that time let the industries get stabilized and come out from recession.
