Your association SIMA has submitted a power-point presentation on “Impact of Open Access on other Industries in Dadra & Nagar Haveli” before Hon’ble Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission on 19th Feb 2016. The scanned copy of the presentation and scanned are enclosed herewith for your information.
The presentation has been submitted to safeguard the impact of open access on other consumers.
In the policy of open access the main concern of our other industries is the financial burden which will be passed over to other consumer as the licensee (DNHPDCL) will have to sale the unutilized power at lower rate in market than the purchase rate, and the loss shall be passed over to the other consumers.
So, your association has requested Hon’ble Commission to allow open access to such big consumers with condition that either they will surrender their power or they shall bare the loss, which may cause to DNHPDCL due to adoption of open access.
Your association is principally not against the open access but, to ensure that due to open access the consumers should not be burdened. Your association hopes that Hon’ble Commission will consider the presentation and shall take care of the other consumers.
