To celebrate the International Labour Day on 1st May 2017 at large scale in the UT of DNH, Hon'ble Administrator has desired to provide long term social security welfare measures to the industrial workers against the risk of death and permanent disability.
To ensure this, Honl. Labour Commissioner has suggested to employers to enroll the workers; who are not still covered in any other insurance scheme, in Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana scheme, which is available at very nominal premium of Rs. 12 per annum. This scheme shall cover Rs. 2 lacs as sum assured in case of death, Rs. 2 lacs for disability and Rs. 1 lacs for partial disability.
All colleague members/industrial establishments are hereby requested to coordinate with their respective banks to ensure/enroll the uncovered workers under Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana scheme.
* KINDLY NOTE: IF SOMEONE IS ALREADY ENROLLED UNDER THIS SCHEME THEN NO NEED TO RESISTER AGAIN.
