Notification: List of Holidays in the calendar year 2023 for the UT of DNH and DD

Dear all,

Your association SIMA is forwarding herewith a Notification dated 20.12.2022. As per the Notification, Hon’ble Administrator, UT Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu has declared holidays in the UT of DNH & DD which is specified in Part – I, II and III.

Part – I : indicates Holidays in UT of DNH & DD during the calendar year 2023 Saka 1944-45 which shall apply to all Government / Semi Govt/ Local Bodies/ Commercial Banks of DNH & DD.

Part – II : indicates the list of restricted holidays out of which employee is entitled to avail any two holidays.

Part – III : indicates the Holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, which shall apply to all industrial establishments, public sector undertakings and commercial banks operating in the UT of DNH & DD.

All the Holidays including in Part – III shall be paid holidays in establishment in the UT of DNH & DD.
