Dear all,

Your Association, SIMA, is forwarding herewith the letter issued by the Department of Labour & Employment, Daman dated 20/05/2026 regarding the implementation of the provisions of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 and constitution of the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC).

As per the letter, all private sector organizations, establishments, institutions, enterprises, societies, trusts, NGOs, units, or service providers having ten or more employees are required to constitute an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) in accordance with the provisions of the POSH Act.

Therefore, all establishments in the UT of DNH & DD having ten or more employees are requested to comply with the provisions of the POSH Act and submit the compliance report to the State Mission Coordinator, Social Welfare Department, Daman through the email IDs sw-dnh@nic.in / dycollg-dmn-dd@nic.in within 30 days.

The following documents are required to be submitted:

(i) Copy of the order/letter constituting the ICC
(ii) Screenshot of registration on the SHE-Box Portal: https://shebox.wcd.gov.in
