Draft (Electricity Supply Code and Related Matters) Regulations, 2015 proposed by Hon. JERC

In exercise of the Powers conferred under Section 181 (2) (x) read with section 50 of the Electricity Act, 2003 (the Act), the Commission has made draft Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission for the State of Goa and UTs (Electricity Supply Code and Related Matters) Regulations, 2015, which, once notified would replace the existing JERC Supply Code Regulation 2010 (together with Amendments made from time to time).
The scanned copy of the Draft (Electricity Supply Code and Related Matters) Regulations, 2015 is attached herewith.
Hon'ble JERC has issued a public notice whereby inviting comments/suggestions/objections of general public on the said Draft Regulations, and the said comments/suggestions/objections are to be submitted to Hon'ble Secretary, Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission, for State of GOA and UTs latest by 25th January 2016. The comments/suggestions/objections received after stipulated date in the Commission's office may not be considered while finalizing these Regulations.
So, all the colleague industries are requested to go through the proposed Draft (Electricity Supply Code and Related Matters) Regulations, 2015 and file their comments/suggestions/ objections in the Commission's office before 25th January 2016.
