Contractors/industrial owners must provide identity proof details to their employees, issue ID cards
Dear all,
Your Association SIMA is forwarding Order No.ADM/LAW/139/1999/2041, dated 14/10/2025, issued by the UT Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu Office of the Collector/ District Secretariat Silvassa.
As per the Order, Shri. Priyank Kishore, District Magistrate, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by Section 163 of the Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, to hereby order that all the Contractors / Industrial Owners should keep details of identity proof and also issue Identity Cards to their employees and inform the concerned police stations accordingly.
This order shall come into force with immediate effect. This order will be in force from 15/10/2025 to 14/12/2025 (both days inclusive) unless withdrawn earlier.
Any person contravening this order shall be punishable under Section 223 of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023
