Celebration of World Environment Day in the UT of DD and DNH
Dear all,
As you know, every year 5th June is celebrated as World Environment Day across all the countries of the world.
As you all know that, the environment of our planet has been critically damaged due to over exploitation of the natural resources. And the natural balance of the various species of animals and species of plants have been severely disturbed by the mankind and due to this the world is facing very severe consequences in form of natural calamities all across the World.
Now mankind has realized their mistakes and are struggling for restoration of the balance of nature. The celebration of World Environment Day is one of the corrective measure in the direction to save the earth from further destruction.
This year in UT of Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli, our Pollution Control Committee shall celebrate the World Environment Day 2016 on 5th June 2016, Sunday at 9.30 AM at Ground Floor, Udyog Bhavan, Bhenslore, Nani Daman.
Shri Vikram Dev Dutt (I.A.S), Hon'ble Administrator, UT of Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli will be Chief Guest and Shri Lalubhai B. Patel, Hon'ble Member of Parliament, Daman & Diu will be the Guest of Honour of the event.

The role of industries very significant in destruction of environment, and hence it is our moral duty to actively participate in such campaign to restore the balance of environment. So, we are sure that, all the colleague industries of Dadra & Nagar Haveli shall not only take in this programme but also initiate various steps in their unit, home and in surroundings to improve the environment by planting trees, water harvesting, etc..
Colleague industries are therefore requested to attend the programme on date, time and venue mentioned here-in-above.
