Applicability of Form No. 402 and 403 at Gujarat Check Post
Dear all,
One of renown Consultant and Advocate M/S. Rathod & Shah of Vapi has sent a letter to your association SIMA in respect of applicability of form 402, 403 at the Check Post in the state of Gujarat. Now it is mandatory that, if your goods are passing through Gujarat State then you have to generate Form 405 I.E. transit pass from Gujarat Commercial tax website www.commercialtax.gujarat.gov.in otherwise your truck will be detained at Gujarat Check Post.
If it is Part Load, then you have to fill form 402 and your transporter has to generate "Meta Form" which has to accompany the goods. If it is not generated and attached with other documents, department will detain goods. So all the colleague Industries are requested to strictly adhere the new procedure introduced by VAT Department, Gujarat to avoid any legal complication and detention of your goods at Gujarat Check Post.
